Roshan Digital Account – An initiative by the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited under the regulatory ambit of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) to facilitate Overseas Pakistanis. Through the Roshan Digital Account, Non-Resident Individual Pakistanis can start investing in the Pakistan Stock Market in easy steps.
IISPL is one the designated Brokers of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to electronically link up CDC Investor Account and its Direct Settlement Service (DSS) with its Digital Trading Solution and integrate it with designated Banks offering Roshan Digital Account services to NRPs, including Shariah Compliant Investments as well. NRPs may select Ismail Iqbal Securities as their Broker after opening Roshan Digital Account with designated Bank and access Pakistan Stock Exchange through its state-of-the-art Trading Application.
Investing in Pakistan Stock Market through Roshan Digital Account
Through the Roshan Digital Account, Non-Resident Individual Pakistanis can start investing in the Pakistan Stock Market by taking just the following three steps:
- Consent to respective bank to share Roshan Digital Account Details with Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC)
- Agreement to Disclaimer / Terms and Conditions of Investing in Pakistan Capital Market
- Selection of Broker (Ismail Iqbal Securities Limited)
- Accept the Terms and conditions mentioned. (This will enable the bank to share your information with Ismail Iqbal Securities to open your Roshan Equity Investment account & CDC depository account).
- Add funds into your Roshan Equity Investment account. (This will transfer funds from your RDA Bank Account into your Roshan Equity Investment account and enable you to invest i.e. buy and sell stocks).
Required Documents
To process your application, the following supporting documents will be required:
- Scanned Copy of Your CNIC/NICOP/POC
- Scanned copy of Your Passport (first 2 pages, Pakistani and/or foreign/other country, latest exit stamp on Pakistani Passport)
- Photograph (Passport size)
- Live photo
- Signature (scanned on white page)
- Scanned copies of Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF) Card (if applicable)
- Proof of NRP Status (scanned copy of POC, visa, entry/ exit stamps etc.)
- Proof of profession and Source of Income/Funds (scanned copy of job certificate, tax return, rent agreement, salary slips etc.)
