Ahfaz Mustafa Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ahfaz Mustafa has been associated with the Company for over 15 years and currently serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He began his career with the Company in Risk Management and, through progressive leadership roles and extensive industry experience, steadily advanced to the senior-most position. Over the years, Mr. Mustafa has built a strong reputation and developed longstanding relationships with leading financial institutions and high-net-worth individuals across Pakistan. His deep understanding of capital markets, risk management and client relationships continues to play an important role in the Company’s strategic direction and growth. Mr. Mustafa holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto, with a major in Economics.

Muhammad Taufiq Director

Mr. Muhammad Taufiq is a seasoned capital markets professional with over three decades of experience in Pakistan’s equity brokerage industry. He began his career in Pakistan’s capital markets in 1990 and joined Taurus Securities Limited in 1993 as a brokerage professional, where he gained valuable experience in equity trading and brokerage operations. In 1998, he joined Bawa Securities (Pvt) Ltd, where he continued serving as a brokerage professional until 2004, further strengthening his expertise in stock market operations and client dealing. In 2005, he joined Ismail Iqbal Securities (Pvt.) Limited as a broker and played an active role in the firm’s brokerage operations. Recognizing his extensive industry experience, professional expertise and long-standing contribution to the organization, Mr. Taufiq was appointed as a Director of Ismail Iqbal Securities in 2015. He brings over 35 years of capital market experience to the Board, with extensive knowledge of equity trading, brokerage operations and Pakistan’s stock market.

Junaid Haroon Head of Compliance

Junaid Haroon is a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of experience at Ismail Iqbal Securities (Pvt.) Ltd., where he began his career in 2005. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) and has consistently demonstrated strong expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. His dedication, professionalism, and deep understanding of the financial sector have recently led to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company.

Saad Hanif Head Of Research

Saad Hanif is an experienced capital markets professional with over seven years of expertise in equity research, macroeconomic strategy, and treasury and investment analysis. He has worked with some of Pakistan’s leading buy- and sell-side institutions, where he has been closely involved in developing actionable investment insights, advising institutional clients, and driving research strategy. Saad holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IoBM and is a CFA Level II candidate with CFA Institute.

Nazim Abdul Muttalib EVP, Head of Broking

Nazim has 17 years of experience in brokerage, fund management and banking. On the buy side, he managed equity funds of over PKR 15bn while on the sell side he advised institutional clients on their equity investments in the local market. He has previously worked at BIPL Securities Ltd (Formerly KASB Securities Ltd), MCB-Arif Habib Savings and Investments Ltd, The Bank of Khyber, Elixir Securities Pakistan (formerly Indosuez W.I Carr Securities) and Soneri Bank Ltd.

Jawwad Aboobakar EVP, Head of Business Development

Jawwad has over 16 years of experience in the brokerage industry. He has worked on the sell side in leading brokerage houses like Next Capital, Atlas Capital and Elixir Securities. He was awarded the second runner up for best trader by CFA Society of Pakistan in 2015. Jawwad has a Chartered Investment Manager designation (CIM) and an MBA in Finance.

Fakhar Zaman VP Sales

Fakhar Zaman has been associated with the equity market since 1994 and has over 29 years of equity sales experience. He has previously worked at different companies, including Indosuez W.I Carr Securities, Elixir Securities, Alfalah Securities and Sherman Securities.
